The School of Creative and Liberal Arts, within the faculty of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences, is a rich, vibrant, multi-disciplinary school.  We offer international students the opportunity to study subjects as diverse as Film, Interior Design, Art History and International Relations in the beautiful environments of Regent’s Park and Marylebone Village.


We are searching for talented and creative individuals to join our existing pool of Visiting Lecturers across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fashion and design areas, including: Fashion Design BA, Fashion Journalism, Fashion Marketing BA and MA, Fashion Buying and Merchandising and Graphic and Digital Design BA. The expertise required within these programmes includes, but is not limited to, fashion design, accessories, fashion styling, fashion photography and moving image, fashion PR, promotion and communications, fashion marketing, fashion journalism, fashion publishing, buying, retail, social media, visual and other merchandising. In addition we are also looking for expertise within the graphics and digital communication areas across both analogue and digital media.  


You will actively contribute to our programmes on a term time, hourly basis, comprised of preparation, teaching and assessment, alongside the opportunity to contribute to our international Summer School provision.


We are looking for lecturers who have experience in learning, teaching and assessment in the HE sector, and who also have proven industry expertise within fashion and/or the Creative Industries. Successful candidates will join a well-established team of academics in the subject area of Fashion and Design and they will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the development of the discipline(s) within the University.


Skills and experience required:

Degree or equivalent Qualification
Sound knowledge of the fashion industry and current educational practices in the field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent collaborative skills
Interpersonal and organisational skills
