We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual with excellent customer-care and team-working skills, to support the Student Immigration & Compliance Services team within our Registry department.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or above with previous experience of providing advice and guidance, and be an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable team player. You will have experience of working with international students within a professional setting and of managing a client caseload as well as an up to date knowledge of current legislation relating to visas and immigration and of the support needs of international students.
You will have responsibility for the provision of effective legal immigration advice and services to at least OISC Level 1 to students studying at Regent’s University London. The overall purpose is to support and enhance the international student experience, while protecting the University’s Tier 4 sponsor license.
You must have a pro-active approach and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex legislation and government guidelines. In addition, the role holder must have an understanding and appreciation of the support needs of international students, cultural differences and have the ability to relate well to people from diverse cultural backgrounds. You will have a proven record of working in a high pressure environment, preferably in higher education setting.
You must be computer literate and have knowledge of the Microsoft office. Excellent communication, time-management and organisational skills are essential.
Experience using SITS Student Records System would be an advantage.
