International student recruitment is a global industry worth many billions of pounds to the UK economy. The post of UK Recruitment Officer represents a fantastic opportunity to begin a career in this exciting sector at the UK’s leading independent University and we are looking to attract applicants who are eager to develop as student recruitment professionals, who can apply their sales and marketing skills to representing an independent university to students, parents and teachers.  The successful candidate will work closely with the UK Recruitment Manager to help implement a student recruitment plan for the UK market, travelling around the country to represent the University at student recruitment fairs, give presentations at schools and train our UK agent representatives. They will need to have the confidence to present to groups of students and teachers, the analytical skills to identify the best opportunities for Regent’s University London, and the organisational skills to pursue them efficiently and effectively.  They will also be responsible for planning and running the University’s undergraduate Open Days. 

We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent, with experience of working in a customer environment handling enquiries and dealing with databases.  They must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and excellent teamwork, IT, administrative, and research skills, with a good attention to detail.  An understanding of the Higher Education recruitment process is also essential.
