We are seeking to appoint two Admissions Officers to play a key role within the Admissions team, coordinating and supporting all aspects of the admissions and student recruitment process. As Admissions Officer you will be responsible for evaluating applications to Regent’s University London, making admissions decisions against set criteria for each programme. You will provide a friendly and efficient service to all undergraduate and postgraduate applicants and their representatives. Other duties include providing admissions statistics (when required), and involvement in marketing activities and Open Days and Evenings. Occasionally, you will also attend off-campus events such as exhibitions, seminars or school visits.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), have administrative or admissions experience, preferably in a UK or international university, be proficient in Microsoft Office packages and have previous experience of working with databases. SITS experience is desirable, UCAS experience an advantage.
You will also have excellent multicultural and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. You must also demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to use initiative, prioritise workloads and work effectively without supervision. Experience of supervising and training staff is desirable.
